A new digital model for managing complex events

Managing a complex event means bringing together many variables: exhibition spaces, content, people, and multiple activities happening simultaneously. As scale increases, orientation and information management become harder to keep simple.

In this context comes the collaboration between Search On Media Group’s Ibrida.IO platform and Mapdo: a digital solution that combines a 3D map, space management, networking, and event programming into a single connected environment.

The goal is to make events easier to navigate in real time, connecting content, places, and people.

The project takes shape within We Make Future 2025, a large-scale event with hundreds of exhibitors and a continuous flow of activities. In such a dense scenario, traditional solutions are no longer sufficient to ensure immediate orientation.

An integrated platform for orientation, content, and interaction

The physical space of an event is complex, and what makes the difference is how information is distributed. Programs, booths, sessions, and content are often fragmented across different tools.

The platform addresses this by centralizing everything into a single access point.

At the core of the system is a 3D Map for Events:

  • Stand with dedicated content
  • Geolocated services and areas
  • Multimedia content linked to spaces
  • Real-time updates

Alongside the map, the platform also integrates:

  • Participant networking
  • Live content access
  • Parallel conferences
  • Event streaming

The goal is to merge exploration and participation into one seamless experience.

From floor plan to real-time interactive 3D map

The process starts from a technical floor plan, which is then reconstructed in 3D while maintaining its real structure.

Spaces are organized into:

  • Main areas
  • Exhibition Stand
  • Points of interest
  • Services and pathways

Each element is connected to relevant content such as schedules, information, and updates.

The system can be used in two ways:

  • Stand-alone solution
  • API integration into existing platforms

Ibrida.io App acts as a centralized control system, automatically updating the map.

Access is instant via browser or mobile, with no installation required.

A digital infrastructure to improve experience, visibility, and management

The main challenge of complex events is not just size, but finding the right information quickly.

The 3D map improves:

  • Clarity and navigation of spaces
  • Visibility for exhibitors
  • Centralized content management
  • Control over flows and real-time information

It becomes not only a navigation tool, but also a system for analyzing the event experience.

From experimentation to a new standard for industry events

This evolution introduces a new model of events, where physical and digital environments work together as one integrated system.

Dedicated FAQs

No, Mapdo collects only anonymous data, in compliance with privacy and applicable regulations.

They can ensure operational continuity even without a connection for short periods, but an active connection is required for full functionality, updates, and real-time data.

Yes, the platform supports API integrations to connect with CRM systems, event management systems, and other digital platforms.

Sponsors and exhibitors obtain greater visibility through strategic positioning, customized 3D models, and sponsored content.

The installation is relatively simple and involves mounting the sensors on the ceiling, typically a few meters above the ground. A network connection and power supply are required, and to ensure proper operation it is recommended to rely on Mapdo technicians.
